Just a quick update. I have a new piece of work published on Our Days Are Just Filled. It's a questioning, and perhaps a rebuttal, of Silverstein' Giving Tree.
If you haven't been on ODAJF in awhile, there's also a short piece about treehouses that includes links to some fascinating photo galleries.
Have been reading Vonnegut's biography (I'm kinda stuck on the KV right now, not sure why) and thinking a lot about novel writing. Not sure if anything at all will come of it, though. As you may or may not know, I have a rough-draft-novel blog but I'm not sure how I feel about that. Part of me tells me to try to make some $$$ for writing, that nothing else matters practically, and the other part of me says I'm not making much money anyway, so why not try to leave something substantial, artistically?
