"Better Off Dead" and Business?

My apologies for the lack of posts lately.  Ever since I got out of school I've been on Daddy-Duty (a wonderful assigment, don't get me wrong) and my young protege (The Pretender) has taken to monopolizing the computer.

When I do kick her off, she sit like an owl and watches me:  'How long is "AWHILE"?' she says, as she continues staring.  Not really conducive to creativity.  And when my guilt takes over and I drag her outdoors to get her away from the computer (often), then of course I'm not in a place to blog.

But on to the news that brings me here:

BOSTON LITERARY SITES IS NOW AVAILABLE DIRECTLY FROM iTUNES!

Yes, that's the link you've all been asking me for since the app came out a few months ago.  It was available directly for Android, but not iPhone.  Until now!

As of today, you can go there and buy, buy, buy to your heart's content.

And honestly, I really do think it's pretty good.  It would be worth buying for 2 bucks even if you never plan to visit Boston, just for the interesting facts I dug up about authors.  Did you know that Harriet Beecher Stowe was living in Andover when Uncle Tom's Cabin came out?  Or that for decades Longfellow spent his summers in Nahant?  Did you know Nahant Beach is featured in Plath's THE BELL JAR?

It is chock full of those sorts of facts, along with it's raison d'etre:  how to get to these places.  I won't go into the wondrous features of the iPhone, but suffice to say, it's an awful lot of info for two dollar bills.

"I want my two dollars!  I want my two dollars!", if I may invoke Better Off Dead.

That link, one more time:  http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/boston-literary-sites/id540477897?ls=1&mt=8
