Am I the only person who had trouble with kites, or is it just a parent thing, or what? Last night I tried to fly kites with Lucy, got them both tangled together, and broke one within 10 seconds. It snapped right in half. then once we gave up we tied it to a stake and it flew just fine! so there you go-a random piece of driftwood can fly a kite better than I can. There must be a lesson in there somewhere.
