Exit Statement for a Job

     Like many organizations right now, current economic conditions forced Christianbook---where i'd worked for the past 12 years---to go through organizational restructuring that resulted in the loss of 22 front office positions---including mine. While I would’ve loved to stay, I can also understand the factors that led to this decision, and wish them the best going forward. 

    I'm proud of our catalog copy team's accomplishments during my 10 years there---and the growth of my own skills during that time. They helped me sharpen and polish my writing in so many ways I could’ve never done on my own---and I learned a new level of professionalism and time management during those years.

    I'm now looking for a place where my skills and experience can make a positive impact on people’s lives while also contributing to a company’s success.
